Design And Application Of Embedded Database On Vehicle Overspeed Detection System

With the continuous development of embedded technology, embedded system andembedded software got in-depth development and applicated extensively. At the same time, theresearch and application of embedded database system has achieved great development.Usually,embedded database and specific application are integrated to execute on given embedded system.It satisfies the critical function of traditional database, and possesses embeddability, mobility andreal time performance of embedded equipment. In addition to the consideration of the executiontime, it is also the requirements of the storage space of embedded database. Because of thelimited resources and the small storage space of embedded devices, embedded system can notprovide a complete database with all funcations to manage large capacity database. Embeddeddatabase development need to consider the space of program code, data management and systeminformation all the time. In the development of embedded database system of practicalapplication, database is always built on a specific operating and access equipment resourcesthrough the system applications. And it chooses a specific graphic interface software to realizenthe human-machine interaction of the embedded equipment.This research introduces the research situation and development prospects in the paper, aswell as the related modules and algorithms of the vehicle overspeed detection system.In thepaper, it discussed the real-time memory database, the research and transplantation of theoperating system and graphic interface software underlying the database. The memorymanagement algorithm designed for the shortcomings of the operating system was discussed indetails. At last, it discussed how to realize the storage and management on a smaller storagespace device, and a design of embedded memory database system based on SQLite was putforward to store and manage the illegal information data of the vehicle overspeed detectionsystem.
