Deep hole diameter measurement is an important part of the geometric measurement. Inindustrial production, in order to ensure the product quality of the deep hole, we always needto detect not only it’s outer diameter but also it’s internal diameter and then, adjust theequipment in a timely manner to ensure the products meet the production requirements.This article is based on deep hole diameter for measurement object, firstly by reading alot of literatures, learned about the aperture measurement related techniques anddevelopment status in domestic and abroad development situation. Subsequently, the deephole’s characteristics and process were summarized. Through analyzing characteristics ofvariety measurement technologies and lots of exciting shortcomings of the currentmeasurement, combined with deep hole diameter measurement of the actual correlation, sothe wireless transmission technology is applied to realize the deep hole measurement date’stransmit.According to the deep hole diameter measurement exists low accuracy, poor anti-interference, wired data transmission and measurement complexity, the paper designed adeep hole diameter measurement device based on wireless transmission, The system isdivided into upper and lower machine (as measuring head). Lower machine as part of themeasurement, sent the measured diameter values by wireless way to the upper machine, anddisplayed the measured value real time. The linear variable differential transformer as thelower machine tool to realize micro displacement measurement, the measured deep holeusing four signals simultaneous measurement, measuring horizontal and vertical fourdirections. Through the signal conditioning circuitry AD698to convert its output signal, itwill eventually convert the non-electricity information to an electrical signal, through theCPU processing, the obtain data will send out by the wireless. To improve the measurementaccuracy, the diameter measurement system was detailed theoretical analysis andcorresponding treatment for error has done, finally improved the measurement accuracy.Finally, using the calibration system which combined with the BCT-5C micromeasurement bench and sensor to measure the different standard thickness samples, throughanalyzing the results shows that the system precision has achieved the deep holemeasurement standards, the system has high accuracy, stability and repeatability, and meetthe deep hole measurement requirements.
