| On October2007, Safety and Standards of Police Information and CommunicationNetwork Boundary Access Platform (Trail Version) was issued by Scientific InformationBureau of The Ministry of Public Security to modify the police information andcommunication network and external access objects as social and enterprises, party andbureau, police stations as well as to provide the only safety path for data exchange andauthorization.Traditional and new techniques like firewall, IDS/IPS, identification, terminalmanagement, virus protection involved by boundary access platform are developed basedon existing technical achievements. Here are not our focuses. What will be furtherdiscussed in our paper are some unique or featured demanding technical theories, whichinclude major three techniques: data exchange safety, isolation safety, centralizationmanagement and cascade report.Police information construction history and developing situation are introduced in thispaper, furthermore concept and signification of boundary access platform is alsointroduced inside it. Core techniques of boundary access platform are introduced like alldata exchange technique, safety isolation technique, centralization management andcascade report technique. Meanwhile based on the demand of boundary access platform,this paper analyses the core3techniques and discusses the typical designs. At last, itsummarizes the boundary access platform to five logical zones including route accesszone, boundary protection zone, practice service zone, safety isolation zone, safetymonitor and manage zone. Also it explains their functional orientation and main system.Boundary access platform system of police information and communication networkare largely set in and put into use in whole China, which have provided one safety dataexchange path between police information and communication network and externalnetworks and set up solid safety base for their users which have boost police information safety construction development. |
