Research And Implementation Of Wireless Localization System Based On Zigbee

With the fast development and maturity of wireless communication technology, thewireless location service demand is required by more and more people. Globalpositioning system (GPS) which is based on satellite communications have emerged，and its good positioning accuracy solved a lot of military and civilian practical problems.But when the object which is needed for positioning is located in the interior of abuilding (such as office buildings), the positioning accuracy is obviously dropped.Therefore，the new indoor positioning technology must be studied to compensate for thedrawbacks of GPS.Firstly, this paper introduced the background and status quo of WSN localization,as well as ZigBee communication protocol and discussed about the theory concerningWSN localization on the basis of the study of a lot of related literatures. The signalstrength based localization technology was made as the main point of this paper. On thebasis of this，this paper makes a deep research into the ZigBee wireless communicationtechnology and IEEE802.15.4communication protocol specification，according to thedesign requirements of low-power, low-cost and high flexibility, then combined withCC2430/2431and computer technology, embedded technology to build the hardwareand software platform，set up the wireless positioning system which is based on ZigBeewireless communications technology, and carry out real-time accurate positioningtowards the moving target，and positioning precision can reach0.5meters, the error isless than4meters．Finally, by testing and debugging，the experiment Conclusion is thatlocation accuracy is connected with not only system signal strength parameters but alsothe number and location of reference nodes. Based on the ZigBee two-dimensionalwireless positioning system in this paper, three-dimensional localization algorithm wasresearched.
