With its low loss, high power density, low inertia and fast response,etc., AC permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has many otherAdvantages like low manufacturing cost, simple structure, hightorque/inertia ratio, strong overload capacity, high-density air-gap. Itmakes PMSM has many applications. But the actual system always hascomplex, nonlinear, time-varying, parameter-uncertainties and otherunexpected features, the traditional PID control is difficult to form aneffective control. As a typical intelligent control method, Fuzzy Controlhas many advantages in the systems like nonlinear system,parameter-varying system and the mathematical model inaccuracysystem.So after the depth study of the mathematical model andcontrol of AC permanent magnet synchronous servo motor, we chooseFuzzy self-tuning PID control as the control method with the advantagesof both traditional PID control method and fuzzy control.The paper first introduces the status and development of permanentmagnet synchronous motor domestic and abroad, analysis of the ACservo control strategy combined with PMSM motor after the basicstructure and the basic working principles of research and analysis, and vector control as the servo system the control strategy described in detailthe control principle of the SVPWM method, created in Matlab/Simulinkenvironment, system simulation model, and the large number ofexperiments to revise its parameter model, after its simulation that thiscontrol method is effective, able to meet the requirements of the servocontrol. In this paper, the production of TI’s TMS320F2812as the maincontroller, introduced in its structure, the introduction of the softwareplatform, a simple system software and hardware design, including avariety of detection and control of the protection aspects of hardwaredesign and software process.
