According to the defects in the traditional building energy saving system, weuse the advanced wireless sensor network(WSN) technology to replace the wirednetwork for data transmission, and the formation of the building energyconsumption monitoring system (BECMS) can be realized for the equipment’energy consumption monitoring and management within the space of large-scaleconstruction. The central task of the system is through the layout of a large numberof sensor nodes in the monitoring regional to collect the environmentalinformation,such as temperature、 humidity、 CO2concentration, as well asequipment’ breakdown of energy consumption data,then use the wireless datatransmission network transmit the useful data to the management and control centerof the monitoring system. The control and management center subtotals these rawdata to generate energy consumption statements in the manner of day, month, andquarter. Based on these data analysis the irrational use of the equipment, the userdevelops a reasonable optimal scheduling strategy for each device to achieve thegoal of reducing the total energy consumption of the building.In the building energy consumption monitoring system, wireless datatransmission network is the carrier of the data transmission system, its performancewill directly determine the overall system performance. Compared with thetraditional application areas in the building environment WSN show the followingcharacteristics, such as the network scale is small, fixed node location, datamulti-hop communication, adequate power supply characteristics and nodetransmission distance is limited, wireless channels are vulnerable to interference.Soit needs a variety of reliability assurance mechanisms disadvantage,and so on.Therefore, we can not adopt the traditional mature routing protocols. In the builtenvironment it need to design new wireless network strategies, as well as a flexible,efficient and reliable routing protocol in order to ensure stability of the system.By analyzing the distribution of sensor network nodes in the buildingenvironment, design optimization of wireless GRID-like topology to achieve nodeexhaustive coverage of the monitoring region. In this application according to thefeature of controllable network topology and fixed node locations we designed location based data aggregation routing algorithm (LBRA) with high reliability,low latency and the Zone based data aggregation routing algorithm (ZBRA) whichis applicable to large-scale network convergence strategy. Those two strategies tryto save the energy consumption of the network itself, improve the efficiency of dataaggregation, guarantee long-term stable operation of the protection system.Atlast,using the simulation tool NS2to verify the designed protocol performance,simulation results show that the design can meet the system’ requirements.
