Wireless sensor network(WSN)is an important part of the Internet of Things.It is composed of many wireless sensor nodes in the form of self-organization.And it has many different characteristics such as wide application range,automatic data acquisition,remote deployment,remote management and etc.In recent years,it has been widely used in various fields.At the same time,due to the performance constraints of nodes and complex application environment,large-scaled wireless sensor networks are facing many problems in the application process,among which the short network life cycle is one of the important factors affecting network performance.As network redundant data can be effectively reduced,data transmission efficiency can be improved and network energy consumption can be also reduced through using data aggregation technology,it is one of the current research hotspots in wireless sensor networks.In order to improve network energy efficiency,several key technologies of data aggregation are focused in this paper which are as follows:1.The data aggregation algorithm is studied for densely deployed clustered sensor networks.In large-scaled wireless sensor networks,the characteristics of data similarity are often in adjacent areas,especially in densely deployed networks,resulting in a large number of redundant data which causes too much energy consumed by sensor nodes that will die earlier than others.Thus,a WSN data acquisition algorithm based on similar region partition is proposed by analyzing the data characteristics of adjacent regions and region classification method.And target data is collected by finding suitable representative nodes in the region and other nodes are switched to sleep in the algorithm.So that a lot of redundant data is reduced and energy efficiency is greatly improved on the premise of meeting the needs of regional normal monitoring.And the validity and reliability of the algorithm are verified in the experimental results.2.Clustering routing technology is studied to balance energy consumption of network nodes,and it is also an important technology to realize data aggregation from source node to Sink node,so it can be regarded as an important part of data aggregation technology.In order to solve the problem of premature death of some cluster heads due to uneven load between them so that excessive energy is consumed in the process of data processing or inter-cluster routing.And clustering routing algorithm is studied to dynamically control the sizes of clusters,choosing appropriate cluster heads and routing between clusters by focusing on the idea of load balancing.The experimental results show that the protocol takes full account of load balancing in terms of cluster head election,cluster control and inter-cluster routing.The energy of the network is efficiently utilized and the lifecycle of the network is effectively improved.3.Multi-path routing technology and data aggregation technology are studied for query-based network.In a query-based network,the deterministic transmission of data should be ensured for meeting the needs of data aggregation of Sink node,so multipath routing technology is used here instead of the single-path routing technology because of the complexity of sensor network environment in which the accuracy of data transfer can't be ensured.On the basis of the research of clustering routing technology mentioned above,the strategy of multi-path clustering routing and energy balance is realized by choosing several suitable next hop nodes in the process of inter-cluster routing.At the same time,according to the requirement of data aggregation in the network,aiming at the problem that the replica data generated in the process of multipath routing affects the accuracy of data aggregation,the current summary technology is studied to achieve effective data aggregation in the network.The experiment shows that the technology can achieve efficient data aggregation,and it can meet the requirements of data storage space and data unit data energy consumption.All of them have good performance,thus realizing energy-efficient data aggregation network.Finally,a summary is made to the full text and further research work of data aggregation technology in the future is prospected.
