Research And Design On Stock-sell-storage DSS Based On Data Mining

Stock-sell-storage decision supporting system is a new management model which isbased on the advanced software, as well as hardware with high speed and large capacity. So asto achieve the purposes, such as data sharing, reduction of cost, increase of efficiency, itmakes the management of enterprise’s stocking, selling and storage together through theconcentrated information database. With the submission and maturation of Data Miningtechnology, based on database, a new model of Stock-sell-storage decision supporting systemhas become a trend with Data Mining as the main analytical method, therefore, thistechnology is worthy of research and application as well.This thesis studies the system of the Data Mining which is based on the drugStock-sell-storage decision supporting system, and analyzes its critical technology profoundly.Firstly, current domestic and international research background for Data Mining technology isanalyzed, based on which the idea is put forward that data mining technology is considered asan assistant decision in Stock-sell-storage data system. Secondly, the concept of decisionsupporting system, the systematic construction and its development are introducedtheoretically. Finally, Data Mining technology and on-line analytical technology are alsointroduced.This thesis takes an overall design of Stock-sell-storage decision supporting system withthe following contents: the analysis on its requirement, its systematic and functional designbased on the Data Mining technology. Focus on the Stock-sell-storage database, thecorresponding multi-dimensional data set, setting dimensions, levels and metrics areestablished. Lastly, mining structure and mining model on the data of Stock-sell-storagesystem are designed, and cluster analysis algorithm for mining is applied on the assistantdecision.
