With the rapid development of electrical technology, signal processing has been widelyused in many engineering fields and special attention has been paid to the characteristic ofsignal frequency. The spectrum analyzer system takes a great part in the fields like signalcommunication, rador countermeasures, audio analysis, mechanism diagnose. The analogcircuit has been used by traditional spectrum analyzer to realize while the error is difficult tocontrol and the price is high with complex operation. Also the problems are not easy to detectand recover thus it is hard to satisfy the users’ demand. Along with the digital technologymaturity and the development of high-performance processor, the spectrum analyzer systembased on DSP has taken great part of the whole market.Firstly, the system of indicators is specified according to characteristics of the mostspectrum analyzer of the market. The system uses TMS320F2812as the core chip, mainlyanalyse the low-frequency vibration signal. And the design of the overall system structure iscompleted with the characteristics of the chip. Meanwhile the system is divided into severalmodules according functions.Secondly, the system can be devided into two modules, namely the system controlfunction, signal processing. The part of system control mainly completes the ADC automaticcalibration function and collection functions, specifies the storage space for datas, acomplishprotocol of serial communication programming, so the system can communicate with PCreal-time. The signal processing part mainly completes FFT algorithm by C language, and thealgorithm has been optimized from the aspects of rotation factor and bit-reversed order. TheRFFT algorithm was put forward for real signal, and that improves the efficiency of FFT. Atthe same time the design of Zoom FFT has been completed to improve the resolution of thesystem.Finally, the actual waveform is sent to test system by the signal generator, then theanalysis of the results are completed. Experimental results show that, the error of data whichis collected and the accuracy and real time all satisfy the design specification.
