With the rapid development of industry production and economic construction in ourcountry, environment pollution accidents, especially emergency pollution accidents, ha ve trendof increase in frequency and harm degree. It is a universal research topic for experts to helppeople to prevent and control environment pollution accidents by information technology.In order to adapt the pollution sources monitoring platform to conditions of mass businesses,large views and business modify frequently, a method of implementing platform by workflowtechnology is proposed. As a business modeling technology, workflow technology with itsflexibility and expansibility becomes an important technology in software development gradually.The software develops by workflow technology ease of maintenance and modification. Thesefeatures of workflow technology can be used to resolve the problems in pollution sourcesmonitoring platform. The main work of this thesis as follow:1. The basic concepts and techniques in workflow manage ment system are researched vialots of literatures. This thesis focus on an analysis of current workflow management systems’deficiencies, such as poor distribution, the execution of the intelligence and parallel is not suchefficient as expected. In order to resolve these problems, this thesis introduces the agenttechnology to workflow management, express the agent features of autonomy, intelligent, anddistribution, improve the deficiency of the traditional workflow management system.2. In order to resolve the problems in multi-agent collaboration, the Agent layeredcooperation framework is proposed, based on in-depth study of agent technology andMulti-Agent collaboration technologies. Agents in this framework are organized in layer mode toavoid many-to-many communication, improve coordination efficiency.3. According to the reference model of workflow management system, the Workflowmanagement framework base on Multi-Agent layered cooperation is proposed; it compromisesfrom Multi-Agent layered cooperation framework and workflow management model.4. The workflows of platform are formulated, and the whole platform is designedcompletely. The workflow management system is integrated to the platform. The platform is implemented by WADE, then through the system demonstration, the correctness and availabilityof the model thought is verified.
