Globalization and infomationization are the main reasons to the fundamental changes in enterprise environments. Wherein, the emergence of dynamic-virtual enterprise has imposed further requirements on the traditional management system, control method, organization structure and decision making criteria.Agent, itself, is self-governing, socialism, responsive, mobile and active. It is based on said characteristic that has made Agent a key to a smart, mobile and dynamic computer environment, as well as capable of enhancing the functionality of any workflow systems to satisfy the dynamic-virtual enterprise requirements once adopted. Multi-Agent technology plays a crucial role and is considered as the main technical basis in the research of dynamic-virtual enterprise workflow system. This thesis focuses on analyzing the Multi-Agent Workflow Management System that supports dynamic-virtual enterprise. The Thesis started by introducing the basic concepts, applied technologies as well as the main application and researches on workflow techniques. The next topic is to define Agent Technology and Multi-Agent System, giving a preliminary insight into the workflow management systems that are developed based on Multi-Agent. The characteristics of dynamic-virtual enterprise workflows were carefully studied by analyzing the concept, objective and distinctiveness of dynamic-virtual enterprise. Said characteristics, combined with ECA rules and action breakdown, has led to the final Multi-Agent Workflow System framework that supports dynamic alliance. Chapter 5 first introduced the structure of the Multi-Agent Workflow Management System that supports Dynamic Alliance as well as the main Agent, then listed the execution logic of actual workflows plus the combinatorial algorithm in selecting actions, and finally moved into the actual modules. The last Chapter is a summary and further prediction of said research.
