With the improvement of people’s living standards, the demand for Visual range is increasing continuously. It is hoped that more of the world can be seen by eyes. Most of the traditional surveillance systems transport by wire, but the surveillance system has been extremely limited in application for the high cost and the limitation of monitoring location. There are building complex, long duration, high cost and other issues for traditional wireless access. With the rapid development of embedded technologies and the large-scale construction and commercial utility of3G network in China, the stability and transmission speed of intelligent image monitoring and intrusion alarm systems have been greatly improved. Due to its low power consumption, small size and other features, this system gradually gets rid of the time and space restrictions, can achieve remotely unattended monitoring purpose.This paper research and implement remote unattended image recording alarm system based on the3G network. The thesis has completed the building of embedded hardware platform based on ARM and the customization for Windows CE system, and addresses theory basis and.NET-based software for the monitoring devices and the central server in details. Combines with the server, management terminal and monitoring terminal, the system has completed the function of deployment on the scene, the alarm system, and the compressed transmission of image.To control devices remotely, it’s essential to find a way to transfer information in distributed system and to control the interaction of different computers. This paper proposes the Simple Information Exchange Protocol and the State Machine, which effectively solve the two problems. Simple information exchanging protocol can control the flow of data and the existence form of information, all information is transferred in a unified manner, which making the applicability of the Protocol more widely. The application of state machine promotes the collaboration between modules more closely, it combined with the network module, could implement a distributed computing.
