In the field of military and civilian, especially in the process of disaster relief, paratrooper demonstrates the role that cannot be replaced.Usually.the conditions of the natural environment and the physical condition of paratroopers are the key factors that whether the paratrooper can parachute and perform a task successful after landing or not. So we are badly in need of some measuring systems,what can reflect the conditions in the process of paratroopers’ parachuting comprehensively, accurately and timely,in order to facilitate the research on the parameters of the natural environment and the physical condition of paratroopers,and insure the paratroopers’safety,when they are parachuting.According to the present situation of the current domestic measuring instrument being single function,this paper designed a portable multifunctional measuring system with the characteristic feature of high precision, high speed and low power. The whole system is divided into two parts:the acquisition of analog signal and the communication between the measuring systems and the host computer based on USB.The system chooses the DSP of TMS320F2812as the processor of the section of analog acquisition,which can measure and store the data of the blood pressure, heart rate and temperature of the paratroopers before and after paratroopers’parachuting and the atmospheric pressure, temperature and humidity of the environment that the paratroopers are in when they are parachuting.with multiple analog and digital sensors and signal processing citcuit.using carious software algorithm.This system can calculate out the real-time height and speed of the skydiving person through working out the relationship between air-pressure and height.and also give the skydiving person audible and visual alarm when they fall below the specified value which can be set using the keyboard of the measurement system.In the same time.all of the data can display in the LCD of the system.The part of communication,which can upload the data of the system stored to the personal computer(PC), achieves the communications functions between the DSP and the PC based on the the Universal Serial Bus specification revision2.0,throufh using the USB interface chip that typed ISP1581.The PC(as the host computer) canstore and analyse the uploaded data using the VisualC++6.0and the Access2003.When the system is designed completely.we had some function commissioning and routine testing for the measuring instrument. The results prove that the instrument has not only has the characteristic feature of high sensitivity, precision and reliability, large measuring ranges, and faster dynamic response.but also has the high automation degree and the ability of comprehensive in the transmission and shows of information.It is very suitable for measuring the parameters in the process of the paratroopers parachuting.
