In view of high power and efficiency development tendency of the current semiconductor laser fiber coupling module, this paper studies several incoherent combined beams technology to increase the power, designs optical system for two of combined beams technology, and makes the coupled experiment.In the paper, according to the semiconductor laser output beam characteristics, three kinds of beam collimation method are discussed, and simulate the impact of alignment error in fiber-optic micro-lens collimating.Multi-beam polarization-coupled experimental program is proposed, the aspheric focusing lens is designed, the output power of two2W (CW) LDs are coupled into a single multi-mode fiber via collimating, combining and focusing, with a core diameter of200μm and a numberical aperture (NA) of0.22. The fiber output power is3.39W at current2.5A with coupling efficiency more than85%.Multi-wavelength beam coupling experimental program is proposed, the aspheric focusing lens is designed. The tow diode laser beam at808nm and980nm, output power of2W (CW) LDs are coupled into a single multi-mode fiber via collimating, combining and focusing, with a core diameter of200μm and a numberical aperture (NA) of0.22. The fiber output power is3.37W at current2.5A, and coupling efficiency is83%.
