The internet of things is the most potential industries in the21century. It’s appearancehas opened the prelude of a new round of revolution in the information technology world andis driving the high-tech industry’s application into all walks of life. The internet of things’application field is very large,including education,medical treatment,the transport andlogistics,energy,environmental protection and other industries. China’s coal mining is rich inresources, but the environment of coal mining is very hard. Accidents happen at anytime,underground worker’s personnel to the lives and property of the security is difficult tohave security. In the working process of the mining operations, the ground monitors needs toconfirme the positions of the underground workers. Once coal mine disasters and accidentshappen, so the rescue can be effective and maximumly reduce casualties and coal mineproduction’s loss.This paper made the internet of things used in coal mine production and put forward a setof position trailing, information inquiry and remote release system scheme which is basedon the RFID technology.Use the wireless remote transceiver chip JF24D to acquire signal andchoose the Macro Crystal Company’s microcontroller chip Stc11l02e with low prices tocontrol the wireless transceiver module.Electronic tags choose the active mode,everybody hasthe only tag.When going undergrond to work,the staff must carry his tag. The card readerslocate on the fixed place which positions are recorded on the monitor host. Monitor host usesthe Visual Basic6.0and Microsoft Access database to development and design.MicrosoftAccess database stores the tags, card readers and staff’ basic informations.In the process ofmining under the ground,the tags constantly launch it’s signals which contain staff’s identityinformations.Card readers receive the tags’ information and do the error inspection, when thedata is right then upload to the monitor computer.Monitor computer serial ports keep openingto receive the tag data from the card readers.After receiving,it will compares electronic tagnumbers, card reader numbers and the data in the database to find out the tag’s correspondingemployees’ names and card reader’ corresponding positions, and then for the Visual Basic6.0to analysis.Finally to realize functions such as position trailing,inquiry and attendancestatistics etc.
