The Research And Application About Statistics Function Based On Ranks’ Transformation

With the time pass by，we walk into a new world filled with numbers andinformation as the great improvement of Computer Technology. Thought a lot ofdifferent technologies、program platform and Management Information system bornin the same time,but they could not satisfy the requirement of this world whichsurrounded by the fast growing data. So the part about data query and statistics isalways ignored by people.In the business which need a lot of data information, such as HospitalInformation System、Aviation and Train Information System and Bank InformationSystem, the data query and statistics is difficult before. The Statisticians need tochange the useful data into Excel table, and then do the different statistics for thedifferent requirement. But the capacity of one Excel table is limited, it can onlycontains65535records. The Out-patient clinics or Money Transfer Department couldhave millions of records each month, it could not transfer the data into an Excel tableonce, so the data statistics result is inefficient and useless for the reflection ofdifferent department.That is why we create the Dynamic Statistics Function in this projectnamed Science and Technology Agency,in order to meet the higher requirements ofthe Mass data. The function’s realization upgrade the level of data query andstatistics, while it also reduce the inconvenience in using the SQL query language.The establishment of the project use the B/S Architecture. We alsoconsider the burden the Server-side will meet, so we use the ExtJs Technology tocreate the Client-side to reduce some work of the Server-side. The major works of thispaper are:Combined with the current situation of domestic and internationalstatistics research, analyze the reason why we establish the Project,the research direction we will go and the result this Project could show tous. Introduce the definition and related knowledge about DynamicStatistics Function；Introduce some useful SQL query language, andanalyze how to use the SQL Ranks Transform in the Dynamic StatisticsFunction.According to user needs，we establish the general framework of thisProject. On this basis, we set up the Project’s Server-side, Client-sideand the connection of two sides.It includes the typical three layersArchitecture in Server-side,the Client-side of ExtJs, and the bridge oftwo sides WebService. Also Dynamic Statistics Function use view tostore the data.Last we show the implementation process,code and the result pictures.
