Electronic components widely used in all aspects of life and production, basically all the electrical equipment cannot work without the electronic components. With the improvement of industrialization process and the technical progress, higher requirements have been proposed by the users to the design cycle and design accuracy. The traditional design methods cannot meet the needs of the industrial production. And new design ideas need to be raised.Thesis work was based on the project of self-made equipment of Hefei University of Technology, using the Finite Element Method as the theoretical basis, using the Maxwell3D simulation software as the simulation platform. Firstly, calculated the parameters of the electromagnet. Including the impact of the magnetic circuit structure on magnetic field distribution, the limit of thickness of magnetic yoke to working current, relationship between polar shape and magnetic field uniformity, relationship between the current and the magnetic field in different air-gap length; Secondly, according to the simulation results to choose the optimized design; The paper also build a SCB simulation model in Maxwell, calculate the electric field distribution in the different shapes of SCB, analyze its ignition performance, and verify the rationality of the special shape of SCB.With thesis work, one conclusion can be reached:using finite element software-Maxwell to simulate, could simulate the work environment of the electronic components, could calculate all aspects of performance of electronic components quickly and accurately, reduce the production of prototypes, shorten the design cycle, improve the design accuracy, and provides a new method for the design of electrical devices. The results obtained in the simulation process, rich the experience data, promote the development of traditional design methods.
