Design And Implementation Of Supermarket Chains’ MIS Based On Renting Management

Information management system plays a crucial role in the survival and development ofchain supermarkets. At present the foreign and domestic software is not applicable to therenting business model of the chain supermarkets in China. The author uses a rapiddevelopment and prototyping developing model to design and develop an informationmanagement system for renting business model.This thesis analyzes the objective of the project, functions, technologies and performanceof the system by using systematic point of views and methodology. Combining thedevelopment theory of information systems and the experience of former work, the thesis putsforward a new design pattern of information system based on a renting business model. Itadopted the optimal architecture of system as the combination of Client/Server andBrowser/Server, and some technical problems about Developer2000, stored procedures andOracle database were discussed and solved. It discusses the data processing optimization anddata exchange method of system design and implementation. The subject deals withWebService, network and database technologies to make an active exploration of Chain-StoreMIS.The results show that the core competitiveness centering on suppliers designed by theChain-Store MIS based on complete renting business model help enterprises and suppliersestablish permanent, stable and mutual benefit relation. At the same time the rapidity of dataprocessing, extensibility, flexibility and safety of the system make it become the assistant ofthe development of enterprises and the system itself is good for promoting.
