Research On Detection And Recognition Of Small Targets In Cluttered Background

To detect the target in complex background using joint transform Correlator has been being the forefront of the field of target detection. It has a high recognition speed, positioning accuracy, which can be combined with computer programming technology.Detection and recognition for small target technology occupies an important position in the field of optical information processing. However, due to the small dimensions of the targets image, complex background and low contrast conditions, which made detection and identification more difficult. This article conducted in-depth research on small target recognition algorithm and using MATLAB software to have a filtering program developed in order to get a face image preprocessing in rem. The results came from computer simulation and optical experiment shows that the algorithm can enhance the brightness of the relevant points effectively regarding to improving the recognition of small target in complex background which has been taken with particular significance.
