Based On The Regional Characteristics Of Image Mosaicing Technique Research

Image mosaic technology is an important image processing research area is computer graphics, computer vision, virtual reality and image processing and other fields important research topic. With the rapid development of science and technology, image mosaic technology has been in the remote sensing image processing, digital video, seabed survey, motion analysis, virtual reality, medical image analysis and access to military technology, and many other important areas of application. Therefore, the image mosaic technology research has practical value and good prospects.Image mosaic by three steps:image preprocessing, image registration, image fusion principles and main methods of research, the existing image stitching techniques were analyzed and compared the advantages and disadvantages of various methods, focus on the based on regional characteristics of the image registration algorithm, we design an algorithm based on this image mosaic system.By programming the computer to run, based on regional characteristics in the registration algorithm, the paper design of the system can accurately image stitching image stitching, image stitching to achieve the experiment proved that the designed system has a good image mosaics successfully.
