Diopter and optical parallax are two important parameters that can evaluate the imaging quality of an optical system. Most traditional measurement uses optical methods, which mainly relied on the eyes’judgment of human being. The test results could not be displayed by digital model and easy to be influenced by the subjective factors of the inspector. Otherwise both of its precision and efficiency were low. In this paper, a kind of digital diopter, parallax detection device using optical mechanical and electrical integration technology was disigned through the analysis of visibility,parallax subjective and objective testing principle. It used CCD camera devices to replace the subjective test method of human-being-eye’s detection, which could eliminate the subjective factors on the impact of test system and realize the digital display for the test results. It could also improve the test accuracy and efficiency by using computer technology. In order to realize the digital and intelligent test system, an automatic focusing and automatic dimmer system was designed for the test instrument through image processing technology. And then, an theoretical analysis of digital diopter and parallax testing error was proposed, and finally a precision calibration experiment for the test system was given at the same time. The experimental results showed that the device has a good consistency and stability, and can meet the design requirements of visibility, parallax measurement accuracy.
