Campus E-commerce System’s Design And Implementation

The author has been in the development project of "e-commerce systems" anddescribed the design and implementation of e-commerce systems on campus as anexample in Shandong Transport Vocational College. Based on the scientific researchproject---e-commerce system of Shandong Transport Vocational College, the thesisanalyzes the design and implementation of the system.The campus information construction in higher schools is paid much attention byeach college and university and has become an indispensable part of the constructionof teaching conditions. On the basis of the traditional campus, a digital space is builtto expand the extension of time and space on campus, to enhance the efficiency andstrengthen the functions of traditional school, which will contribute to the realizationof overall information and the improvement of education management and efficiency.Therefore, building campus e-commerce is in line with the trend of the times.The characteristics of campus-commerce are firstly analyzed. The online store ofcampus, serving as a subsystem of college management system, takes the features ofcampus into account since started with the purpose to meet the requirements of thefaculties and students and work as a comprehensive platform for service. Manybusiness entities can release their products on the Internet through the “e-commerce”system for faculties and students to purchase, which is easy and convenientIn accordance with the features of e-commerce and the campus network aplatform is designed to release commodity information and functions as a platform fororder reservations. Thereby the aim of commodity information posted on the website,shopping cart management, campus card payment, distribution and other functionscan be attained, which provides more efficient services to the teachers and students.System uses B/S architecture, SQLserver2005database system, TCP/IP networkenvironment, Windows XP client platform,. Net development platform, the system useof network database technology, visual programming technology, network technology,distributed database technology, serial key technologies such as common interfacetechnology, has self-adaptability, reliability, maintainability and so on.This paper analyzes the overall structure of this system, the detailed design of each module, as well as system design and implementation issues to consider wheninvolved in related technologies, and systematically lays out a campus e-commercedesign ideas, methods and process.To conclude, the author proposes the further research direction concerning theproblems arising out of the development of the system.
