With the development of the use of P2P such as BitTorrent, Internet Service Provider (ISP for short) is facing the huge pressure of network bandwidth. At present, the Internet flow of P2P is about70%of the total flow in our country according to the statistics, and especially the P2P download of BitTorrent is50%of the P2P total flow. The growth of P2P traffic flows caused the export bandwidth of ISP congestion, affecting the flow of the other applications, resulting in expansion of the high cost of ISP, and P2P traffic contains some illegal VOIP that damage to the ISP’s own Business income of PSTN and mobile phone(such as SKYPE, etc.), these businesses will be rapid alternative to traditional voice business, to cause voice business of ISP downturn phenomenon. It is worth noting that the P2P technology lead to copyright protection has become very difficult, and a great impact on the traditional communications industry and cultural media industry (copyright).Thus, in order to solve a series of problems that BT and other applications bring, ISP obtains the basic effect by exploiting the function of the basal internet equipment. The main work in this paper is to take a right way to lead P2P flow correctly and put forward a method of setting Content Cache Server of P2P by using the principle of Web Caching technology and Content Delivery Network technology. First, the work is to transfer the content of the user’s request to P2P Content Cache Server, and then to inform him to download the content from it, controlling the P2P flow in the ISP network as far as possible, in order to control the jam of bandwidth at the export of ISP network. Meanwhile, the method puts forward the supervision of P2P by Internet Service Provider, and it takes an important part in promoting the development of Internet healthily and rapidly.Research and practice of P2P cache system,guide and control of Chongqing Unicom P2P traffic achieved certain results.Backbone export flow pressure:the application of P2P caching system before, P2P traffic of Chongqing Unicom backbone export in the proportion of the total flow about75%; application of P2P caching system, P2P traffic of backbone export in the proportion of total flow about40%. The system ease expansion pressure of backbone export, improve the utilization of the backbone traffic. User experience:before application of P2P cache system, users watch the video of outside the network buffer slower and low download speeds. Application of P2P cache system, users watch the video of outside the network buffer faster and very fast download speeds. The system is optimized experience of Broadband users for P2P applications such as video, download speed, improve the market competitiveness of the company’s broadband products, to provide a guarantee in order to enhance enterprise efficiency, and consolidate market share and their own sustainable development.
