With the development of information technology, telecommunications industry has put forward higher requirements for business operations. In the early stages of the telecommunications industry, the real-time and accuracy of the intelligent network system had been recognized by the users. With the explosive growth of the number of telecommunication users, the increasing cost of intelligent network system, operators need a new real-time, intelligent billing system. However, due to the traditional file system database cannot meet the requirements of the users on performance; the requirements of the new billing system cannot be fulfilled.The price of memory gradually decline, the gradual increase in the amount of storage can hold much more minicomputer systems have memory, so the memory used by traditional database functionality has become a reality. Memory access speed is N times of the disk, so the memory database is new billing system basic.This article describes the development status and use environment of the OCS system. Through the analysis of several important modules of the OCS system of the memory data management system, several algorithms for the memory data management system is given. Through the research of several modules, the design of the memory data management system is finished.This paper mainly to the following aspects:OCS system definitions and background. Memory data management system definitions and background. Memory database architecture and individual level functions. This paper describes the T-tree index algorithm, gives the implementation logic and the test data of T-tree index performance under test environment. Through the analysis of the performance test data to prove that the memory database management system to meet the need of the OCS. This paper describes the Hash index algorithm, gives the data performance test data, and has a contrast with T-Tree index and Hash index. This paper describes search algorithm. This paper describes transaction and lock, and attribute of transaction, and dead lock. This paper describes log and system recovery mechanisms to ensure system security, without of data loss. This paper is very important in the memory data management system design and development process. Through refinement to this paper, this designed memory data management system, running on the line in several provinces of China Unicom and China Mobile. The system is running stable, able to meet the requirements of the OCS system, recognized by the users.
