In accordance with the group telecommunication core network construction guidance, Xinjiang Telecom to deploy the IMS core network. IMS core network using the SIP as the core control protocol, SIP user access has a significant advantage. At the same time IMS in multimedia, Internet, fixed mobile convergence FMC, nested class business has natural advantage, IMS early deployment, will Xinjiang telecommunication full-service lays good foundation.This paper mainly studies the principle of IMS and the IMS deployment to Xinjiang planning scheme, elaborated the principle of IMS and the function of each network element, designs the IMS deployment scheme and IMS bearer network.
