Design And Implementation Of On-Line Examination System For The Trade And Economic School In Heilongjiang Province

In recent years, with the rapid development of computer technology, the school’s information development on teaching and management has also made great progress, which requires balanced development on each link, in order to build school into first-rate platform for information management and teaching from the sides of software and hardware. On-line network examination system designed and developed by this paper is also one of the most important aspects. The use of the system can reduce the burden of teachers, improve work efficiency, optimize the process of students’ test, and save manpower and time compared with the traditional test model.Using the network and database technology, and combining the good advantage of present general price decline and the extensive construction of broadband network hardware, the paper develops on-line network examination system based on B/S model, and divides the system into two parts, that is foreground and background, to design respectively according to the practical using condition of the system. The foreground is mainly used for the examinee registration and login system, online examination, inquiring the result and logging off; and the background is mainly used by the system administrator to manage the information of the examinee, examination questions, examinee achievement, news and course, and the profession. With the advantage of convenient use, simple operation and highly efficiency, although at present stage the system has only realized part of the test’s objective questions, it already has some important functions such as:questions entering, modification, query, the manual and automatic examination paper making, and online examination timing. That is to say that the system has already realized true paperless examination, satisfied any authorized examinee to test anytime and anywhere and quickly to get the test results, and in the same time greatly reduced heavy workload of teachers, including setting questions, making and correcting the examination paper.The paper first introduces research background and significance of the current online examination system, current development situation both in domestic and foreign and related technology. And then the paper makes a detailed introduction to the architecture of three B/S model, the use of platform ASPNET, and leading edge technology of AJAX adopted by the system, and on the basis of the demand analysis, the paper gives overall system function structure and designs the database needed by the system. Finally the system realizes the online examination system coding and system testing, and makes the concrete analysis of key technology such as: anti-examinee refresh and randomly examination paper taking, and in the same time gives the realized key codes.At present, the on-line network examination system has been put into trial operation in the HeiLongJiang Province Trade and EconomicSchool, and it has very good effect during operation period. The system has realized the function needed by educational administration testing in order to make examination fair, and it has also increased the working efficiency of the educational administration department, so that the whole school information management steps to a new level.
