With the rapid development of modern manufacturing technology, the enterprise is more and more widespread concerned on CAPP, process decision-making is one of the most important key technology areas in the CAPP system. This paper mainly researches process decision-making intelligently in the CAPP system, including the process processing method of decision and process processing order of decision.First, the paper analyzes the current research status of the CAPP system and some process decision-making method that now used to do, raise the process planning system for the overall frame structure that the system is divided into four module system, including parts feature information extraction module, workshop resource management module, process decision-making and process card output module, the process statement is structured to generate modules and make a more detailed introduction to each module. Then, this paper research the process processing method of decision and raise the process processing method of decision based on process knowledge base and inference engine, this decision-making method store the processing information of processing part by constructing a process knowledge base, and then rely on forward inference engine logical decision-making and output processing method of the characteristic of processing parts. Finally, based on the process processing method of decision, it raise the proposed order of decision-making method based on the genetic algorithm and constraint matrix, establishment of a mathematical model of the process processing order of decision as well as the constraint relationship between the processing element, mainly researches on achieving the process of process processing order of decision based on genetic algorithm, including the gene encoding, the generation of initial population, fitness function design, selection, crossover, mutation and termination conditions.This system use in C#as development language, Visual Studio2008as development platform, it has been developed successfully the process decision-making system module base on this topic’s system platform and it is verified the feasibility of this method by sample.
