Therefore, Web Services has advantage such as lower coupling, more suitable for Internet applications etc. relative to the other distribution technologies, using it can build an efficient, open, inter-operable purchasing management system.In this paper, on the basis of research and application of the material purchasing theoretical, through various distributed computing technologies are analyzed and compared, and the conclusion is obtained, which Web Services gains the advantage over other technologies, and Web Services is determined to be implementation of the purchasing management system as the basic technology. The main research works are as follows:1. An overview of the concept of the purchasing management system. The development of today’s the purchasing management system and the current status of the technology used in the inadequacies. Analysis and comparison of the Web Services technology and other distributed technology, points out the Web Services technology to the advantage of the purchasing management system.2. The basic principle and architecture are further analyzed about Web Services to establish technology basis to design the purchasing management system based on Web Services. Subsequently, proposed work model of the purchasing management system based on Web Services by analyzing the characteristics of the purchasing management system and properties of Web Services. And according to the actual demand, detailed design of the system’s main function modules of the process.3. To make the system open and has good interoperability that it used for interface design Web Services, external calls for each service carried out a detailed design of the interface. And detailed description of Web Services technology in the module is how to achieve.4. This paper not only Web Services-based model of material procurement system analysis and design of frame structure.
