The rapid development of China’s economy has caused a great deal of energyconsumption, in the current environment of strain on the resources, using a simplyefficient, low cost, ultra-low power design of intelligent control system has become atrend of designing energy-saving lighting.The paper designs an intelligent control energy-efficient lighting systems whichbased on the SimpliciTI protocol wireless sensor networks. In this paper, analysisesthe performances and functionalities of the lighting system, as well as in-depth studyto the SimpliciTI protocol-based wireless sensor network characteristics; then,determines the hardware and software design requirements of the various parts of thesystem and the centralized controls of the host computer software and databasestructure; finally, commences an intelligent energy-saving lighting system under anew framework.The paper selects MSP430MCU and CC2500RF chips which produced by TI andtheir peripheral circuits as the lighting system hardware core. Gateway coordinatorhardware design includes the CC2500wireless module, communication module of thehost computer, the downloaded debugging interface and E2PROM storage circuitdesign; the hardware design of the information collection consists three sensormodules--the illumination,body sensors, infrared shot;the lamp controller’s hardwaredesign includes LED driver circuit and the PWM dimming control circuit.The paper constructs the host control computer software and databases, disposesthe collected information by using the fuzzy neural network control algorithm, andcompletes the intelligent lighting control.Gateway coordinator completes, by software design, the communication betweenwireless networking and the host computer in lighting system; information collectoruses the monitoring point polling mechanism to collect the needed digital or analoginformations; lighting controller switches multi-channel gating control of thebrightest LED light, and controls the LED by the microcontroller to generate thePWM signal.With the field simulation and software simulation testing for each system module,the paper initially verifies each performances of the system, makes the RF network toreach a seamless real-time information transmission level, and to meet the designrequirements of data collection and lighting control, proves that the system design is feasible and safe.
