Market research is the foundation of market forecasting and business decision-making since it can provide accurate intelligence information. With the acceleration of economic globalization, competition among enterprises increased rapidly, a firm who mastered the market, and grasp the customers will take the initiative.Customer satisfaction is the most valuable thing for a company, not only customer’s loyalty will continue to improve, but they would be willing to spend more money and with others to talk about the company’s brand. Traditional customer satisfaction surveys are generally the written questionnaire forms, either by investigators to interview, or set up "investigate me" automatically submitted by the customer. Both of these methods are inefficient, data collection is very limited. With the development of computer and internet, online market research system makes it possible, and result a lot of excellent products. The use of powerful Internet network technology and computer clusters, statistical analysis, an effective distinction between the target customer groups, greatly enhanced the accuracy of market development.Based on the research of the need for online market research system in the real world, this paper design and realize a powerful reusable market research system with J2EE system and MVC model, using practical product design principles as the guide. Online market research system is an online survey solution which includes questionnaire design, questionnaire sent, questionnaires recovery, data statistics and analysis. Online market research system is running on the server’s side, no need for local software customers to purchase and deploy, all work-including easy questionnaire design, sophisticated charting tools-in the browser can be completed.All in all, the major work and results are as follows:1. Discusses application development technologies and how to achieve the develop model, so as to system development provides a theoretical and technology foundation.2. In this paper, a detailed analysis of the market research system, from the questionnaire design and statistical analysis of the actual needs of the business, discussed the characteristics of market research system and the needs to address the problem, design a flexible、easy to maintain system solutions based on a careful analysis of demand.3. Based on the detailed analysis of the Market Research System to make the system’s overall design, implementation and set up the function model of system and the database design.4. Detailed design was made according to different system levels, using J2EE system and the B/S structure. In this paper, from the system specific analysis, outline design, detailed design and implementation procedures for such process are discussed in detail to meet the future needs to define the scope of the application system, implementation technologies and solutions, as well as used in architecture, provides well-structured reference practice for market research system future development reusable.
