The software we described in this thesis, is the main job I am working on.we describehow we practice Software Engineering by design and implement a VehicleManagement&Monitor System(VMS) having GPS and GIS. We research and analysis theprocess of design the VMS,the management system struct of Browser\Server, and the GPShardware,data transmission, data interactive and GIS logical algorithm, algorithm of roadNetwork analyst. Discuss and analysis the important of GPS and GIS in vehicle management,my team deⅣvelop the most common GPS and GIS functions for the Vehicle ManagementSystem.。In the thesis,we focus on the vechical supervision and emergency dispatch of Vechicalmonitor industry, and analysis the component of the VMS and the struct of the ManageSystem,focus on the function and usage and the design of the VMS. The system designingbased on analysis the actual functional requirements of Vehicle Manage nowadays.TheVehicle Management can get a new level by GPS positioning technology and mature,widelyused of GIS technology,because of GPS and GIS, There have been many ways to manage theVehicle automaticly and infomately, this Enhanced the management level. we can manageinformation,monitor information,even tracking information by using computer technology,computer data communications technology, computer network technology, Browser\Serverstructure program etc. this can complete and efficient the process of the VMS.We first consider the current state of the vehicle management Before start developing theVMS. We focus on Vehicle Management and traffic management,focus on the managetechnology and the tracking technology of vehicle management. And we add the GPS andGIS into VMS, so we show all the information around the VMS visually and Realtime.We chose mature and open hardware and software and software structure during thedevelopment. Also concerned the Compatibility and scalability of the system, we chose Visualstudio2010,Microsoft dotnet framework to develop the software and ArcGIS Silverlightmap components, and we chose the Browser/Server Struction, the hardware interactive datausing the mobile GSM network to the server on the internet, and we use open api GIS systemto develop the GIS part of the system. so we use the information way to broke every part ofthe VMS.
