With the development of the Internet, in foreign countries have appeared a numberof SNS sites for the purpose of expanding interpersonal relationships. With the rapiddevelopment of social networking sites such as Facebook, many domestic enterprisesare attracted to imitate them, appearing many SNS website by a time such as Renren(Xiaonei), Kaixin, Zhanzuo, Hainei, Mayi, Yiqi,306circle and the others. EspeciallyRenren which is the most closest to Facebook and have the same starting point in spreadfrom schools, has now become one of the nation’s largest social networking site.Throughout the major domestic social networking sites, however, after several years ofdevelopment, there is still not a social networking site like Facebook can keep in the topand develops in full swing. Thus, simply copying the mode of foreign websites cannotachieve real success; fleeing the social nature and using games or entertainment for themain attraction, domestic social networking sites are destined to face variousbottlenecks.CNS theory is trying to explore a model of social intercourse which is more fittinginto the Chinese culture, and striving to establish a group-based social platform to letthe social networking site return to its essence, and make people find like-minded friendmore easily.With the background above, this paper first analyzes the reason of the predicamentof the domestic social networking sites; then introduces traditional SNS theory; make atheoretical study of CNS; at last points out the four characteristics of CNS socialplatform: unification, uniqueness, independence and interaction.After introducing CNS theory, this paper presents the necessary technology andframework of the theory to practice of CNS, including the Portal technology and theframework of Liferay Portal. Eventually we make a second development on the basis ofthe Liferay Portal to create a CNS-based website of social platform–QianqiCommunity Alliance. This paper also taking "SRCFREE--open source project"community for example, introduces how to build a community in Qianqi CommunityAlliance, as well as how community owners manage the community, and how this community operates, etc.
