Meteorological operational service has already become an important industryservice which is in relation to the national economy and people’s livelihood in socialeconomic developing. At present, the construction of Shanxi provincial meteorologicalcomprehensive detection system is gradually matured. Various types of meteorologicalobservation technology are continuously improved. More and more elements of weatherobservation, higher and higher data transmission density are appeared. The formed datavolumes and data types are still further numerous. And the public requirement to theservice quality and real-time information is higher and higher in meteorology and itsinformation service. The meteorological service should transform the weatherforecasting and observation data into the meteorological product in the first time, and betimely and accurately provided to the government decision department and the public inan intuitive and easily understandable form. Therefore, it is necessary that themeteorological services business should be expressed in highly systematic andtechnology content, as well as strongly professional. This article has important practicalsignificance and value to the operational monitoring of the meteorological observationequipment and data processing analysis.Based on the actual demand analysis of the meteorological business station atdifferent levels, this article makes intensive study and researches, and provides a generaldesign plan of weather information processing and analysis monitoring system, andcompletes the system-related hardware and software design. The main research resultsmake analysis and design to the structure and working principle of the entiremeteorological information processing and analysis monitoring system. On this basis,the system is divided into three parts to make detailed design; that is: systemcommunication data transport protocol, data service center software, web real-time datamonitoring.The effect of meteorological information processing and analysis monitoringsystem is mainly using the GPRS wireless network to realize the weather data collectingin Shanxi area. The design realizes the display of the monitoring platform of Shanxi provincial meteorological station website and finishes the monitoring of the equipmentoperation, communication and data transmission situation in the ground meteorologicalstation, well, produces the meteorological service product satisfying the meteorologicalusers’ demand. The system adopts the computer control network database based on Webaccessing, querying and data processing technology. As the program design idea modeof facing the customer, researching the meteorological information processing andanalysis monitoring system and creating condition for expanding other meteorologyspace. Scientifically and efficiently managing the meteorological observation networkto ensure the long-term and efficient operation of the network, as well having some helpto the provincial meteorological business and scientific research.The main characteristic innovation of the system: through the realization of themeteorological data collection, storage, management, processing and analysis etc.torealizing the aim of real-time monitoring to the Shanxi provincial observationequipment. The point data status information of each meteorological station could beupdated in real-time. At the same time, it could realize the information statisticfunctions as average temperature, hour rainfall and accumulated rainfall, and producevarious meteorological factors report product and analysis meteorological factor data inform of curve graph.
