The majority of faults in electronic facilities are in analog circuits,so the development of powerful circuits automatic test system and researching on effective technology of analog circuit fault diagnosis have become a focal point of research in the test area.Because of the intuitional diagnostic process and well-bedded fault tree diagram,fault tree analysis has become one of effective methods of fault diagnosis.The development of fault diagnosis tool of analog circuits is based on fault tree analysis in this paper.The fault diagnosis tool will conform to IEEE1232(Artificial Intelligence Exchange and Service Tie to All Test Environments)that is a very important international standard in test area in order that fault tree can be created intuitively and used in different automatic test system,and the diagnostic knowledge can be shared.When fault tree analysis is used in fault diagnosis of analog circuit,we should solve the problem that how to draw the fault tree diagram.The drawing of fault tree diagram will be by aid of Visio ActiveX control and consult the Microsoft Visio Graphics Mode with which we can complete the fault tree diagram with the symbols of fault tree diagram and connection line in Visio mold file. The design of fault tree drawing symbols conform to the GJB/Z-768A-1998(Guide to fault tree analysis) standard which defined the rule of fault tree analysisThe drawing tool of fault tree diagram can only draw the graphics and config the test information,so the paper describe the development progress of converter module of fault tree model based on the IEEE1232standard. The model file has the standard framework in which the structure and test and fault information of fault tree can be stored.The diagnosis knowledge can be shared by the model file.But the model file need the support of diagnostic reasoner based on the IEEE1232. An automatic test system can call the diagnostic reasoner to load and analyse the model file,and finish the fault diagnosis.The details of diagnostic reasoner are described in the paper,and also introduce the internal modules and external interfaces of diagnostic reasoner.
