Fault recorder system of the power grid can supervise the operation state, faultrecording and analyzing. Effectively using the fault data recording device and abnormalinformation of the grid, and combined with trigger times of the protection, it can findout the cause and analyze the defects, thus to enhance the stability of the power grid.EH power plant, after commission the capacity will be4800MW, is the the plant ofpeak load frequency adjusting and backup load for emergency of the power grid. Forlarge unit of the plant, establishment of the equipment parameters on every aspectsprecisely and completely is nessecery.This paper refer the actual need of the fault recorder of EH power plant, themanagement of the software developing, to use of UML unified modeling language,system modeling, programming to achieve EH power fault recording system. This paperfirstly according to the needs of the business department’s request, on the EH powerfault recording system is defined and its information acquisition method of requirements;then, according to the definition of system, using the UML unified modeling language,the power equipment of the class and object abstraction, completed the EH power faultrecording system analysis and design; finally, describes the system implementation. Inthe development process of the system, focused on the study of EH power fault recorderdata business process, functional framework, analyzing the function of the systemdemand, and based on the object oriented technology, UML modeling technology, onthe EH power plant electrical equipment abstract modeling process. The projectdeveloped software system, through the development and implementation of testapplication, also obtained the use method and the test results, and in accordance withthe relevant requirements.
