With the rapid development of the network technology and the increasing demand of thenavigation and positioning, the indoor location system has become the important complementof the global positioning system in indoor environment, also a target tracking positioningbottleneck. Indoor transmission environmental complexity and the source of interferencediversity make the problem that the accuracy of the indoor location system is low, this paperput forward the improved three edge measuring method and Taylor series expansion of thehybrid location algorithm, and design the location software on the platform of LabVIEW.First of all, on the base of summarizing the current intensity based on information inradio frequency identification indoor location research at home and abroad, this paperintroduced the topic research’s background, significance, research contents and the chapterarrangement.Secondly, in the analysis of indoor wireless signal propagation model, parameter toeffect the RSSI measurement and a variety of classic positioning algorithm, the paperresearched how to improved and realized the positioning precision of indoor location systemfrom two aspects of indoor location algorithm and software design, the paper put forward anew location algorithm that the improved three edge measuring method and Taylor serieshybrid location algorithm, the algorithm introduced the concept of weight polygon vertex andvertex weights, according to the weight value, we could calculate the weight center ofpolygon, put the centre of gravity as the initial value of Taylor series expansion, iterativerefinement, and then the calculated target coordinates could be measured. The method couldnot only improve positioning precision but also reduced the Taylor series expansion of theiteration number, and reduced the complexity and cost of the system. On the basis of theresearch on theory and the performance analysis in improved algorithm, designed the software system RFID indoor positioning system based on RSSI on the platform of theLabVIEW, according to the modular design thinking of the system is divided into theparameter configuration module, serial read and write module, target orientation and displaymodule, file management module five modules.Finally, the paper gave the algorithm performance test results. In the indoor hall 20m*20m range and a linear 50m distance, the software system based on improved three edgemeasurement and Taylor expansion hybrid location algorithm can accurately realize targetfunction, and the orientation precision was in the range of 1m.
