The Planning for Vitalization and Development of Modern Logistics in Shandong Province published by Shandong Province determined Qingdao as a provincial logistics node city. Port cluster logistics zone, one of the five main logistics zones in Shandong, will center on extroversive and radiant logistics with cities like Qingdao as the main body. Depending on the superiority of closing to the sea, Qingdao takes accelerating port construction as a breakthrough to develop port logistics industry. Now, port logistics not only becomes a pioneer in over-thousand-square-kilometer northern Qingdao economic zone but also an engine of blue economic development in Qingdao.At present, Weifang port logistics informationization construction lacks unified technology standard and normative data transfer format, which leads many units and departments’information database to become "detached island" of information. That also causes many problems, such as a lack of efficient logistics operation in each link interface, difficulties in data exchange and information sharing and smooth logistics activities, which is far from a modern logistics industry. A set of perfect "port logistics information platform system" should be established and logistics information resources should be rationally developed to set up enterprise logistics information system and decision support system. With the assistance of an effective information system, a complete decision data and more rapid response to market changes will effectively promote the port logistics, the logistics construction and even the development of the whole city.The content of port logistics information platform construction includes:the dynamic state of port construction, shipping and transportation management, highway transportation management, warehouse service, agent services, ship repair, customs inspection, logistics supermarkets, logistics information aggregation, member management, logistics messaging platform and so on. This system provides port logistics information, goods storage space information, travel information and travel repair information, agency business and business customs inspection for industrial and commercial enterprises, provides logistics analysis information for industry management departments to fulfill industry regulation, industry data statistical analysis, information communication among industry management departments, between industry management department and enterprises, societies and enterprises, among enterprises; the system makes standard data exchange interface for industry logistics platform and enterprise management system to unite logistics information and seize information. Industry logistics platform and enterprise management information system can get logistics information through the platform. The platform can also seize logistics information through other logistics platforms and enterprise management information systems to share and exchange information with them.Port logistics information platform system bases on the design pattern of B/S three layer structure of J2EE framework:Web page server layer, intermediate business processing layer and data layer. Web page server is mainly used for report display and system maintenance interface, using such technologies as JSP, Servlet, JavaBeans. The middle layer is used for business logic calculation, including the source of data mining, historical data generated and logistics data acquisition, GIS information calculation. Databases are used to store the results of calculation and store pages from the server over the transmission data to calculate summary of raw data.Objectives of the system:to establish a port logistics public information system on the core of data exchange. According to the demand of logistics service system, on the one hand, different types of related systems are connected to the platform through data switching center interface system to fulfill data sharing and business linkage; on the other hand, the system provides information support and various access modes, convenient and efficient services means for social logistics systems and also provides effective support for other logistics public information platforms and the subsequent development of the branch nodes.
