The Design Of Distance Education System For Communist Based On ARM

Distance Education System for Communist is of much significance in improving the rural party member cadre’s comprehensive quality and speeding up the construction of rural information. The existing distance education systems have some disadvantages. On one hand, they have poor interaction, the users cannot choose programs they like, they cannot comment resources they have seen, not to mention share with others. On the other hand, the existing distance education systems cannot be fully used. They cannot guarantee that the equipment operating normally, resources updated in time and resources used efficiently.To solve the problem mentioned above, this paper proposes a new design for the Distance Education System for Communist. Based on embedded system, it compatibles with the satellite mode and broadcasting mode. It makes full use of computer network to get lots of resources. The system includes human-computer interaction and human interaction platform to improve the interactive. Besides we add evaluation module to supervise equipment operation, resource updating and utilization of resources. Furthermore, it provides some practical applications which convenient for people’s daily life.What I have done in this topic includes the hardware design, the operating system kernel transplantation, database design and application software design. The specific content is as follows:1) Expand the ATA hard disk interface in the original development board and add ATA driver to the operating system kernel. Expand USB interface, which can connect USB interface devices, such as keyboard, mouse and U disk.2) Modify the bootloader, adding meaningful text and personalized logo image into the system boot screen; Modify shell programs and registry provided by Windows CE OS, setting CDES client application to boot.3) Select the operating system components what CDES needed to customize specific Windows CE operating system kernel, and download it to the development board.4) Database design and synchronization. The server database uses SQL Server, and the client database uses SQL Server CE. They synchronize data according Replication. We can choose database table and fields, and screen specific rows using Parameterized Row Filters5) Communist Distance Education System application design. CDES application uses C/S+B/S structure, the users visit the CDES in the client, and they will see the distance education resources displayed in grouped columns, and they can visit the specific content through the embedded browser. The server software completes synchronization with CDES resources and it communicates with the client.6) Evaluation system. The evaluation system uses B/S structure, and provides evaluation function in six aspects, including equipment, administrator, courseware resource, teaching, files and organization security. Besides, this module uses dual user access control measures to improve the security of the data in the system.
