As the establishment and deeply pushing of national policies, such as Natural Forest Protect Project, etc, Yichun has changed its traditional way in wood production and turned into a kind of unified wood sales, namely, forestry bureaus subordinated to municipal distribution bureau will no longer take charge of the local timbers, and the sale rights and sale plans will be uniformly managed by municipal distribution bureau. So, the scattered storage locations and distant transportation will increase the management difficult with no doubt, therefore, it becomes necessary to provide a unified platform for management and communication among related departments of forestry bureaus and municipal distribution bureau in order to integrate effective resources into together and finally connect each critical links in timber circulation. Unified management can effectively prevent the problem wood loss existed in traditional ways of wood management, and makes it possible to find out the critical problems in daily management and finally improve the benefits and management level. In addition, Forestry informatization has become one of the most important points concerned by many forestry enterprises and institutions, most of them have achieved the goal of informatization construction in some degree, varies kinds of information management systems have been established and some of them have been applied effectively, such as portal sites of forestry information, digital management systems of wood production, wood invoicing systems and so on. And, as the rapid development and generally perfect of information technology, concepts in system development has been changing by the more convenient and practical technologies and development mode, so, how to develop the more convenient, practical and flexible information systems based on the concept of people oriented rather than simply focusing on the complement of functions has become the main point in researching and the urgently needs in wood industry.The concept of software engineering has run through the development of this system, including the system requirement analysis, general design, detailed design and system realization in order, which provides a guiding ideology for developing a comprehensive and reasonable system. Use an improved model adopting the concept of "service oriented" as the architecture foundation of the whole system, which can be flexible to adapt to the requirements of maintainability and scalability in the future. In implementation technologies, comprehensively use advanced technologies based on J2EE framework which can effectively support the improved system model; use digital barcode technology to realize the wood of the rapidly, effectively and accurately accessing to data; use WebGIS technology based on Google Maps API and AJAX to implement the inquire and statistical of customer’s distibution based on the map and help make decisions; use dynamic workflow technology based on the role to realize the automatic jump of complex business flows; use role-based access control to guarantee the safe access to resources and information of the system from the level of system itself; some other system optimization methods such as data reading based on template, fault-tolerant processing and so on can reasonably reduce the burden of staffs, and finally improve the system performance.Through detailed analysis and comprehensively use of different technologies, design and implement the wood marketing management system integrating the timber circulation including timber production, timber transport, timber storage, timber sales, financial management and logistics management into a unified platform, it can overcome the defects of signal functions and weakness in user’s participation existed in previous systems, and achieved the goal of integrating resources and participating in the system at anytime and anywhere, and offer a solution to improve the office efficiency of working staffs and achieve a high performance and high flexibility system.
