At the end of2009, the TV program LET’S HAVE A DATE of Hunan Satellite TV brought a bran-new mode of blind date TV Show to the audiences. Later the blind date TV Show was popularized in all local satellite TV. Among these YOU ARE THE ONE of Jiangsu Satellite TV is the hottest. It beat the competitor LET’S HAVE A DATE and became the winner. This provoked abroad discussion about blind date TV Show. In the past2years, YOU ARE THE ONE was keeping a high audience rating which is closely and inseparably related to its innovation.In the article the program YOU ARE THE ONE is study object, and the case study method is used to fully analyze the features of this program. Firstly, it is started with the studies of current society, audiences’minds and the text features of new blind date TV Show. The reason of hot broadcast is analyzed. Then the innovative way was deeply explored from the content, form, tech, marketing and brand building of the program. After analysis we find that the program director makes a great innovation from traditional mode of such program, makes sure every detail different and builds its own style. All these contribute to the success. Simultaneously the director pays attention on the culture and service in the program. After these the program got the upgrading from imitating to brand making. I hope this article would provide some references for future innovation and creation of such TV program and I also hope they would have long and healthy development.
