With the development of modern mobile communication technology, the smart antenna is becoming more and more prominent. As a key technology of smart antenna, beam-forming technology becomes the focus of research. And the core of the beam-forming technology is adaptive algorithm, the adaptive algorithm is using mathematical model to describe the algorithm of adaptive process. The adaptive algorithm can use hardware or software to realize. The so-called realization of hardware is the circuit design according to the process of calculation of algorithm. There are a lot of adaptive algorithms, and choose appropriate adaptive algorithm is very important, which decides to deal with the performance of the system. This paper selects the SLC-LSCMA algorithm, which is good in convergence.In ordinary antenna beam formation, the adaptive beam-forming technology is built on the basis of the adaptive algorithm technology, which plays a key role in the array signal processing. The current FPGA integrate the common functions, and the internal resource is rich, which provides a good environment for the development of hardware.In view of the above, this paper implements a adaptive beam-forming device in basis of the wireless communication technology, computer technology and embedded technology. Firstly, this paper selects an optimization algorithm according to the selection standard of algorithm, and gives the process of calculation. Secondly, establish a complete smart antenna model, and emphasis optimization modules in this paper. Then use the Cyclone Ⅱ series EP2C35F672C6chip of the Altera company as primarily chip, use Quartus Ⅱ as hardware development platform, and describe the hardware circuit in detail using bottom-up process of gradual compiled. Then across all optimized module in the top level file integration, and study the whole. Finally proves the adaptive beam-forming device in ModelSim SE and gives the evaluation of the system.
