This thesis gives a deep analysis on HSDPA transmissionperformance. It is generated under the background when China Mobilebuilds up the TD-SCDMA mobile network. Some regions received baddata transmission rate under the on field test. From the aspect of radiotransmission characteristic, this problem lies in worse transmissionperformance in AP (Application Layer). Therefore, proper solutionsshould be taken in order to find the factors that impact communicationsand to optimize network performance.Several main factors impact HSDPA transmission performance in theTD-SCDMA network. They are listed as follows: the processing abilityof network devices, algorithms advantages, configuration parameters usedin the system, network layout and its optimization. From a general pointof view, the ability of a device and the algorithms its taken are fixed aslong as the design are passed and finished. System configurations arereasonable after proper adjustment in test phase. Therefore, this subjectfocuses on the consequent impact of network layout and its optimizationin different environment and how to optimize HSDPA performance through reasonable adjustment.This subject aims to improve TD-SCDMA network behavior.Several methods as system simulation and network performanceverification are used for a more persuading reference to improved HSDPAfeatures in the future.The research subject includes two aspects:(1) To simulate on HSDPA transmission performance throughemulation mode and get corresponding results.(2) To verify the simulation results in the TD-SCDMA networkenvironment and prove the analysis.Following accomplishments are achieved after research on thissubject:(1) The methods used to take theoretical simulation on HSDPAtransmission rate in different environment.(2) The verified parameters that could be used in future networkoptimization.
