This paper is transmission project design on supporting the construction of 3G network construction, the design of the existing SDH optical transport network based on new construction and expansion of TD-SCDMA wireless network. As the existing GSM networks is mainly SDH optical transmission network voice and data services with fewer small particles, while the era of 3G networks will face from low-volume, small particles, the TDM-based to high-capacity, large particles, the whole IP business. Therefore, TD-SCDMA solution supporting transmission planning and goal is to meet the key to the flexibility of the initial network of support for future data services, and reduce the escalating TD network oscillations on the transmission network to bring. The basic purpose of building 3G bearer-related services, and can later pave the way for further network upgrades and preparation.This paper is the first TD-SCDMA wireless network features and important characteristics of 3G services through the wireless part of the analysis, pointing out that the construction of the current transmission bottlenecks and focus on building the main part, and made more based on the existing transmission network practical design. TD-SCDMA wireless part of the wireless from the building objectives and requirements, the analysis of its key business content and focus on HSDPA services, wireless base stations according to the construction of the existing status and the principles of the wireless part of the building construction program.Then transfer part of the existing network from the start of SDH, SDH optical transport network and then to the basic characteristics and performance analysis for the wireless part of the proposed prior to the bottleneck and focus, the design of optical transmission in the SDH transmission network, what is the use of configuration-related businesses way, and then involved in the design of SDH technology to conduct a feasibility analysis to prove that the existing SDH network to carry 3G services.According to previous analysis and technical solutions, combined with an operator's existing transmission network, put forward the principles of the design of specific building and construction program, each server area on the formation of the specific construction of practical guidelines. And because it is building on the existing network, this project involves a considerable number of network cutover, cited in this thesis, a specific cutover cutover plan to illustrate the detailed steps and key considerations. To form a complete transmission network for the current project with the design of practical guidance.In this design, the final summary of the program proposed SDH optical transmission network itself as the defects and determine the program only as a transition, so the proposed use of other technologies or building programs Sunbeam transmission to replace the recommendations of the existing SDH network for the later to do some of construction.
