HINOC (High performance Network Over Coax) technology is a broadband access technology based on coaxial cable, it’s born for the tri-networks integration of our country. HINOC system is based on OFDM technology, which is easy to be affected by single-frequency interference.This topic concerns the BCH coding algorithm and its hardware implementation which is applied in HINOC system to improve the system’s performance.The main work is as follow:Researched the menthod of applying BCH code in HINOC system. Analyzed the key issues encountered in HINOC system when affected by single-frequency interference, adopted segmented BCH coding method to applying on Probe frame of HINOC system to improve the ability of anti-single-frequency interferency. Come up with the parallel coding and parametric coding method for BCH coder in HINOC system. Analyzed the BCH decoding algorithm. Researched several types of BCH decoding algorithm, including hard-decision based on BM iteration and soft-decision decoding algorithm, each algorithm is under simulation. Estimated the advantage and disadvantage of each algorithm, finally put forward the decomposition inversionness BM iteration algorithm to apply in HINOC system. Researched the hardware implementation scheme of BCH encoder and decoder in HINOC system. Evaluate the hardware structure of BCH encoder and decoder. Designed and implemented the parallel coding and parametric coding method for BCH coder in HINOC system. Optimized BCH encoder and decoder to improve system performance.Added control signal to reduce the power. Adopted the pipeline method on decoder for improving the system performance.All the BCH coding algorithm and hardware implementation are under simulation, the results show that the capability of anti-single-frequency interference in HINOC system has been improved by30dB.
