Oxygen is one of the necessary conditions for the survival and growth of fish. Oxygen content in the water is mainly related to the natural temperature, humidity and the density of fish. Fish is very sensitive to the oxygen content in water. Traditional cultivating methods that are generally based on empirical observated the floating fish to determine whether the oxygen level is low. In order to prevent the occurrence of a large number of death fish, fishermen need to spend a lot of time and energy observing the situation in fish ponds. There are a lot of shortcomings that is not timely or excessive increasing the oxygen, consuming time and increasing labor-intensive in this way. To some extent, it affected the growth of fish and increased the cost of cultivation. In order to improve the quality and quantity of breed fish, and to upgrade the automatic level of the control technique of the aquatic products, release the labor force of the fisherfolk, and decrease the cost of aquiculture, an automatic control system was developed for dissolved oxygen in the fishpond. The system can measure the oxygen content in the fishpond inreal time, realize starting or shut-down the machine automatically, monitor the working state of the oxygen-increasing machine. So the oxygen content can be confined to enactment.It can increase the security of fish availably and decrease the cost of aquiculture.The whole system is composed of master and slave. The slave is mainly collected signals from the fishpond and sending signals to the host.The slave is also receiving the control signal from the host in order to start or stop aerator. The host is on the control room.It can display the current value of dissolved oxygen, set the upper and lower limits of dissolved oxygen. It also can send the control signal of whether the aerator could be start or stop. In the host the cell phone text messages can be send to owners’cell phone.This can be achieved the communication between the system and owners.The communication between the host and slave is radio frequency. The main findings are as follows:1. Through using the wireless RF network, the whole system which is composed of the master and slave is built. The communication between the host and the owners is the way of the SMS by using of powerful coverage of mobile wireless network;2. The perfect control algorithm is designed.The set-point of control system is constructed.The intelligent control algorithms and in-line set-point has embedded in the control system. The intelligent control algorithms and in-line set-point has been assessed in the experimental water;3. According to the situation and the observation of the oxygen content in different seasons and different times in the fishpond, improving the settings of the parameters of upper and lower limits of dissolved oxygen in the fishponds; 4. In LabWindows/CVI platform, the monitor screen of wireless measurement and control system of dissolved oxygen in the fishpond is designed and producted.It can access the collected data in real-time.It also can analyse,compute, display, print the data.
