| With coming of digit era and the requirement of enterprise for data analysis, be face of an explosive growth in the amount of information, how to process the data in the existing information system and come into being the scenario that is integrated, oriented analysis, it can be accurately and quickly get useful information and support management decision-making, that is an important task which more and more enterprises have to face. As the emergence of data warehouse, it solve the this problem on the technical level. From the standpoint of data scope, the data warehouse is the whole enterprise data collection, but data mart can be understood as a miniature data warehouse for department, with fewer subject areas and historical data, several department data mart can be composed of a data warehouse.Through a realistic data mart project, this paper introduced research results of the author in data mart field, Data mart system architecture, relationship between several modules are analyzed and designed in detail. It also introduced Informatica PowerCenter that is a data integration platform and Oracle BIEE platform. The paper is implemented based on these platforms and author also descried BIEE development techniques and skills involved in query optimization.The paper is divided in2sections and5chapters. The1st section is made up of charpterl, chapter2. In the1st section, it introduces background of the paper and research contents, and briefly described the realization of data mart for all aspects of the technology, the PowerCenter and BIEE platform features that used in the project. The2nd section consists of chapter3, chapter4. Begin with the customer requirement, data extraction, data storage demand, analytic demand and as the basic for design of data mart, analyzed and designed the data extract/transform/load, storage, presentation implementation of data mart. With BIEE characteristics, using data federation and BIEE views to solve the performance in the data query. |
