Research On TD-LTE Wireless Network Planning For A Region

TD-LTE is the4th generation mobile telecom standard, promoted by China and received wide support in the international Communication Organizations. A good wireless network planning is essential for the construction of TD-LTE. The TD-LTE network planning should take into account the technical characteristics and the operator’s existing networks. The deployment of TD-LTE network should be in the data hot spot identified by the GSM and TD-SCDMA network, and ensure the smooth switching between the TD-LTE and the existing networks. TD-LTE coverage area network layout should be designed in accordance with the technical and engineering characteristics of the TD-LTE wireless network. The TD-LTE wireless network planning should make the adjustment of the ENodeB’s parameters flexible to ensure network quality.This thesis focuses on the steps of the TD-LTE network wireless planning and contents, and concludes the needing attentions for the TD-LTE planning. This study gives a simulation of TD-LTE network planning for an area.
