Three3rd-generation (3G) mobile licenses of China were issued at2009., there are only three big telecom operators (China Telecom, China Mobile&China Unicom) to complete at China telecom operator market. The competition of this market is more and more fiercely, there is more and more risk of customer chum. How to face with the fierce competition and persists the customers is a big problem to China’s telecom operators.Data mining technology makes use of existed history data to find out the underline business rule by establishing mathematical model. The date mining technique is developed very much, and the importance of use date mining is more and more recognized. The prediction of customer chum in telecommunication industry is a very important application in date mining.The paper consists of5chapters:chapter one is introduction which expatiates on the research background, the research about this capital at home and abroad and this is the overall summary of the paper. The second chapter includes the study on BI and Data Warehousing. The third chapter is about date mining technique. The forth chapter is practice the date mining with the CRISP-DM flow on the prediction of customer chum. After all, there is a conclusion and forecasting of the research.
