In early2009, MIIT has launched3G license, indicates that China access to the3G mobile communications era. In the following two years, three operators to develop3G telecom construction, till end of November2011,3G base station has reached792thousands,3G subscribers reached118.73millions,3G network covering most of the city, county and town, more and more users choose3G network.With the developing of3G mobile communication services in depth,69.7%of the traffic concentrated indoor, includes the data services which demand high bandwidth for network recourse, the main task of3G network construction is to strengthen the indoor and some special scenes depth coverage in current stage. Relying solely on outdoor macro sites can not completely solve the business needs of hot spots, indoor network optimization technology as an effective solution to solve the weak indoor coverage. Therefore, study the3G network indoor coverage solutions is very important for improving the theory of indoor distribution system and guiding the construction of indoor coverage network in both theoretical and practical.Based on the basic TD-SCDMA technology, this article introduced a few of indoor mobile network coverage propagation models, which are widely used-now, and proposed an effective solution to solve the TD-SCDMA weak indoor coverage.This article focuses on the design ideas of TD-SCDMA indoor coverage, the repeater and macro cell were used as the sources, the radio frequency and optical fiber as the carrier, the frequency shift and other advanced technologies were referenced, New Baoli Plaza, for example a detailed analysis of a TD-SCDMA indoor coverage systems planning and design process, including combiner transformation with original GSM system. To fulfill the needs of long distance (more than100meters) transmission of GPS signal in the TD-SCDMA network, this article provides a solution which is based on the differential balanced circuit, thus to provide a reasonable solution for increase TD-SCDMA indoor network capacity in office building areas with high traffic. Now, the GSM and TD-SCDMA indoor coverage system has been launched in New Baoli Plaza, the coverage effect of mobile network is very good.
