For a received bounced e-mail, then test its Rcpt To address tag, if no tag or the tag’s signature is verified fail, the mail will be treated as illegal bounced mail is rejected.The main contents of this paper are:1. Outline the concept of junk e-mail, status and hazards, and then from the legal, technical and economic aspects of the current anti-spam discusses the primary means of introducing in detail the basic principles of the e-mail system, after that the common characteristics of spam, and common technology to send Spam. And then a large number of spam filtering technology has been studied, analyzed their advantages and disadvantages, and found it is poor technologies to prevent the back Bounce Attack on the mail system.2. After giving a detailed analysis of the e-mail system bounce mechanisms and principles of bounce attacks, this paper presents a mail filtering model based on BATV technique to address the growing e-mail bounce attacks, the model addresses from e-mail envelope Mail From start, and add BATV tags which can be verified to Mail From address.When the letter came through the validation BATV tags, to achieve the identification of bounce spam function. As for the general content-based spam filtering, this paper combines a filtering model with content-based filtering technologies. By setting the appropriate content filtering rules, you can effectively filter spam.3. Designed and implemented a spam filtering system based on BATV and content filtering technology, which work in mail gateway to complete the e-mail envelope Mail From address BATV marked add and bounce e-mail Rcpt To address BATV tag validation, and e-mail content filtering. In addition, the system provides a good user interface to facilitate user filtering systems management and configuration.4. Tested this whole system and gave results analysis. Results show that the system can effectively resist e-mail bounce attack, e-mail content filtering module by matching filter rules can also be effective in filtering spam.
